Council Staff Spotlight featuring Chiquita Blackwell

My name is Chiquita Blackwell, I joined the Council for Professional Recognition in 2020 as a CDA Credentialing Coordinator. I assist the CDA Credentialing Manager with the managing of CDA initial and renewal applications, and I am responsible for quality assurance monitoring to ensure accurate and consistent credentialing decisions. Prior to joining the Council, I was the Program Support Manager at NAEYC where I developed a passion for early childhood education. I received my BA in Business Management from the University of District of Columbia in 2007. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going on hikes with my chihuahua Diezel.
